Hi, I have the Cannon Pixma MG2500. Getting error 1700. The Ink Absorber is almost full. I know that if I use it a lot more I wouldeventually get the error that it is full. I had the same problem with my previous printer MG2400 and threw it away because I thought it was a hassle to fix it. There are so cheap to buy. In the other hand, I print so much and it has not even been a year since I got this printer.
When I talked to the people at Cannon regarding my previous printer they said that he counter goes by the number of printed pages and not necessarily by the actual ink absorbers been full. I really do not want to take the printer apart and clean the absorbers and wait my time if the counter says that it is full because of the amount of printed pages. I would like to use the TOOL_V3400 to fix it if it is the best way.
