How

^ Didn't see this before. You could do that, just not as proper IMO and inspector may say something.

As long as the wiring space isn't filled more than 75%. Whatever works best in the situation.

How to install electric baseboard heaters youtube music free

Electric Baseboard Heating Know the differences. So before you upgrade your electric baseboard heaters here are a few things that I learned when I had to replace mine on short notice.

I didn't mean 12gauge is a bad idea. Just that you mentioned you 'need' 12gauge and overkill/cost, when you don't 'need' it. If all the existing wiring is #12, keeping it to #12 would allow a 30amp breaker in the future if you add a bunch. I get the impression that, as with most people, that you understand #14=15A breaker. This usually is the case, that #14 needs to be protected by a 15A breaker. But, if the circuit supplies only fixed resistance heating loads, the code basically allows you to upsize the breaker to the next size, as long as the wire's rating is not less than the load it supplies.

And the load can't exceed 80% of the breaker. Which means that with #14 you can use a 20amp breaker.

The wire would be good for 15A (3600W @240V) and breaker for 16A, thus limited to 3600w. If it was all #12 in the circuit, you could do 16A (80% of 20A breaker), or use a 30A breaker and do 20A (#12 rating). That's why they use a 20A breaker even if 15A would be okay. I said I could put the thermostat to the left of the electrical panel easily, with the heater on the right. That's possible since everything is very accessible there, but the panel once installed would be very awkwardly due to placement limitations.

The only viable space is near the TV, so the temps could be way off right in that spot, due to heat from the TV. Plus it'd be like 6' off the ground, and we're shorties in this family. I could put it below TV level, but that would mean the thermostat would be 2 feet off the ground. Theoretically the thermostat could go on the wall to the right of the heater (to the right of where the mirror in the picture is now), but that would be a major PITA - major fishing.

The easiest would be above the heater and just a little bit to the right (at the left-most aspect of where that mirror is now), but that'd also be a non-ideal situation since it's above the heater. Well, that's cool. Or hot, as it were. Dimplex now makes electric baseboard heaters that make installs much easier: 1.

They are small form factor, so a 1000 W heater is 30' like I previously mentioned. Download geme bangun kota for nokia. They include a built-in electronic thermostat, but if I understand it correctly, it varies the current load to the heater depending on temp.
