The other day I was thinking about MMOs from the past and things that I feel really nostalgic about. One thing that REALLY hits me in the feels is this jazzy music that was in the Omni Entertainment district in Anarchy Online.
You can hear it if you want a blast from the past. Just hearing this music almost brings a tear to my eye. I can imagine those early days playing that game with friends and having so much fun (despite all the gamebreaking bugs and such). I feel like every year or so I'll google this song just to try and get an ounce of that feeling I once had.
Originally posted by -Snomits-@Dec 15 2004, 03:54 AM I guess I could try it later, during the holidays maybe, at least it's an attempt, but with all of the glissandos (at least I think that's what they are, my vocabulary was never too great) it might take quite a while. Because yeah, it is a long song as ayashi_boi noted. And to note: this doesn't mean I'm a 'pro'.:sweatdrop: I'm not exactly sure how you'd like me to show the credits to you though, Stefan @__@ can you transcribe white christmas for me please?
Ehh, I'll try White Christmas if there's a midi or a very simple mp3. Since I'm not too great at transcribing mp3's I'd rather leave that to someone else though heheh, and I don't think there is a midi of it. EDIT: How's this for the Payon theme? If you can hear anything weird, especially with the arpeggios/glissandos (like timing or dynamics), lemme know! Will post sheets later after finding out some stuff: credits to stefan in post, and would you like it on the actual sheet? And s'okay if I leave the url of my site as the footer, right? Oh, if you're wondering about those arpeggios/glissandos, I painstakingly put 'em there manually.
I don't there is a special tool for that.:P I guess I'll leave the sheets to you, then, since I really can't get mine out. I use Noteworthy, and the score doesn't show very well. Originally posted by Nedra@Jan 13 2005, 04:16 AM Hey, where do you hear the song Not So Far Away anyway? [In the game that is] Like in which city??
Yes, it would be wonderful if someone subscribed that piece of music!! I would love to play it!! And on second note, since a few of you play ragnarok here. Where is a good place for a lvl. 70 priest to train?
=.=, I found that orc dungon is too easy, but glast hiem is too hard. AYA i can't believe blemmified msuic has it grrr and he/she doesnt even know grrrr well if someone can tell her plz tell her i must get the song:crybaby: 24/12/04 Here're some Ragnarok Online songs but I don't know their specific names and because I don't want to repost sheets I'm not going to put them up until I know titles. So, check out the midis (they're not originals, they're the ones I made) and help me out by identifying them! (By the way, the first two midis are of the same song, just different versions.) ->Click me for the midi!Click me for the midi!Click me for the midi! I've gotten several e-mails and replies about that song heh, I just. Haven't gotten around to doing it.
